ROUTE 50 STREETSCAPE PROJECT OFFICIALLY OFF OF THE GROUND!!! This afternoon along with US Congressman Tim Murphy, representatives from the three municipalities of Heidelberg, Carnegie and Scott held a ceremony to recognize that the Tri-Community Revitalization Project, the streetscape project that will improve Heidelberg’s East Railroad Street (Route 50), Scott’s Carothers Avenue and Carnegie’s Third Street is officially off the ground. Yesterday, the project was released for PUBLIC BID through PENNDOT. Bids are expected to be opened on Thursday, November 29, with project award shortly thereafter!!!
